Kelly L. Close is Editor-in-Chief of “diaTribe“, an e-newsletter for people eager to learn more about better managing diabetes and President of Close Concerns, Inc., a healthcare information firm devoted to the business of diabetes. Kelly’s passion for the field comes from her extensive professional work as well as from her personal experience as a patient with type 1 diabetes for over 20 years. Stemming from her work in the corporate and investment communities, Kelly is a recognized authority on diabetes and a frequent writer and speaker on the subject. In addition to her advisory work, Kelly also sits on the boards of dLife, JDRF (Bay Area), and the Children With Diabetes Foundation.
