Andreina is a social entrepreneur, co-founder of the Diabetes Hands Foundation. As a board director she contributes her strategic vision, creative, and design skills to the team.
She is responsible for the unique branding approach in Diabetes Hands Foundation and has overseen the design for our online communities (TuDiabetes.org and EsTuDiabetes.org), developing and implementing web design, logo design, marketing and advertising collateral, books, printed promotional materials and retail merchandise products. She is in charge of developing most of the organization’s awareness programs, reinforcing the importance of members involvement and the power of self-expression in our communities (No-Sugar Added Poetry and Diabetes Supplies Art).
A native of Merida, Venezuela, Andreina is fully bilingual. She holds a B.S. degree in Architecture from ULA (Venezuela) and a Master of Science in Design from Arizona State University. Andreina has worked or consulted for the Public Health Institute, Full Sail University, ASU, Avance Associates and A.L.E.M.O.
She is also a professional mixed media artist and the owner of Evolve Art Studio and a passionate member of many local artist collectives and coops.
