…so no one with Diabetes feels alone!”

TuDiabetes dedicated member, Barbara Bancroft, has gone above and beyond in the spirit of giving this holiday season. Below is the message she wrote and shared with family and friends. Her words serve as a gift, a call to action, and invitation to support the Diabetes Hands Foundation. We are incredibly thankful for her support, kindness, and generosity. Barbara’s inspiring message is shareable/copy&paste-able, and she has agreed to share this with all of you. Thanks to Barbara and all of you, we are able to continue to serve you, our wonderful diabetes community.
Here is Barbara’s Message:
If you’re like me, as the holidays approach you’re developing a sense of “fearful anticipation” about sorting out your gift-giving options.
This year I’ve decided to make it easy, and get all my last-minute shopping done at once.
I have made donations to Diabetes Hands Foundation to honor you, my friends and family, instead of giving them gifts you likely don’t want or need. I’ve gotten so much benefit from Diabetes Hands Foundation communities (tudiabetes, estudiabetes) and programs. My participation has literally changed my life. I’m sure you, my family and friends, will appreciate that I’m thinking of you with much love by making a donation in their honor, while also helping this community reach more people, develop new programs and grow stronger.
Please consider joining me so no one with diabetes feels alone! You can donate here… every donation is important, whether it’s $12 a year or $20 a month. Diabetes Hands Foundation will send your honorees a cool note telling them about your gift, or send it to you so you can present it yourself.
Spread the love, have a wonderful holiday season!
